Shopper marketing revolution


Shopper-MArketing-Revolution smallInside Retail Academy will host The Shopper Marketing Revolution, a one day intensive workshop focused on shopper marketing in Melbourne and Sydney.

UK shopper marketing expert and Engage founder, Mirk Anthony, will headline the event, passing on his knowledge and experience in shopper marketing.

Following Mirk Anthony’s presentation, he and John Berenyi, psychologist and MD of Bergent, will co-host a shopper marketing workshop for the second half of the day.

Topics to be discussed include how shopper marketing is the catalyst for major changes in the way consumer goods are marketed, the Five Step Total Marketing model, how consumers and shoppers differ, the Path to Purchase, how to prioritise channels, and strategies to optimise investment and motivate manufacturers.

The event will include lunch and two breaks, and will be held at the Hilton Hotel in Sydney on August 5 and in Melbourne on August 7, 2014.

    I don’t believe in creating controversy simply to gain attention. There is no revolution. None of what is discussed at these events is new. The same principles have applied for many years. I am afraid this kind of sensationalism (to get attention) gives retail and shopper marketing a bad name :)
