Source cutting-edge retail products at your AGHA industry event this February

Leading Australian design blogger Jen Bishop from Interiors Addict will be sharing her best social media marketing tips plus expert advice on how to grow your retail business with retailers and buyers at the upcoming AGHA Sydney Gift Fair.

With a combined social media following of more than 250,000 readers, Interiors Addict is an industry favourite, and this year, Gift Fair visitors have the chance to attend an exclusive Meet and Greet with Jen in person. The Interiors Addict presentation will take place at 2pm on Saturday 23 February onsite at the Gift Fair.

Located at Sydney Olympic Park, the annual AGHA Sydney Gift Fair is Australia’s largest industry-led gift and homewares trade exhibition and will run from 23-26 February. Packed with the newest products, 13 huge retail buying categories, thousands of local and international brands and the latest design trends under one roof, retailers can ensure their shelves are stocked with the latest finds.

“AGHA provides a wonderful environment [for us] to connect with retailers across Australia. They provide an engaging experience for even the busiest of buyers who are looking for new and exciting products,” says Joan Perreira from homewares brand, Madras Link.

“It is also an opportunity to see the ranges in full and meet with designers who are behind the story of the products and to feel inspired by the stunning trends, colours and designs of the season ahead.”

This year, the AGHA Sydney Gift Fair is launching a new Smart Living category, tapping into Australian consumers’ rising interest in automation in the home, from smart speakers and lighting to voice devices. Last year, a report from Telsyte revealed a 25 per cent increase in the average number of smart devices in the Australian home.

Other exciting categories at the AGHA Sydney Fair include:

  • Australian Made
  • Baby and Child
  • Entertaining and Dining
  • The Fashion Edit
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • Home and Interiors
  • Give a Gift
  • Occasion and Celebration
  • Outdoor Living
  • Play, Learn and Grow
  • Retail Services
  • Sustainable Living

The exclusive Design Life buying zone is back for another year, aimed at premium buyers sourcing the most coveted designer products for the home. Visitors can explore leading wholesalers including Madras Link, Holiday Trading Co. and Robert Gordon Australia.

Meanwhile, retailers keen to sniff out emerging designers and new creative startups should head to The Launch Pad in Halls 3 and 4, an exclusive platform showcasing unique products across gift, homewares, kitchen, jewellery and fashion. This year, a crop of new designers include Hippo Studio, FR33 Earth and BoldB.
