Specialty Fashion Group’s CFO resigns
Spreckley will continue with the group until the end of October to facilitate a smooth transition of responsibilities, the Specialty Fashion Group stated.
“I am grateful for the commitment Gary Spreckley has given the group during the past two years,” company chief executive Gary Perlstein said.
“Gary will continue in the role until after our annual general meeting in late October, and I wish him all the best for the future,” Perlstein added.
According to Specialty Fashion, Tony Karp, chief operating officer, has taken on the additional role of acting finance director while a search for Spreckley’s replacement is completed by executive search firm, Egon Zehnder.
The group also announced it has appointed Claudine Tarabay as its new company secretary.
The owner of brands Millers, Katies, Crossroads, Autograph, City Chic and Rivers, said Tarabay has extensive experience supporting compliance and governance matters as part of her previous roles within the finance team at Specialty Fashion Group.
