Stockland has appointed CSL director Christine O’Reilly to its board.

The move follows the appointment of Melinda Conrad earlier this month, further bolstering the listed landlord’s diversity credentials.

With the addition of O’Reilly Stockland will have four women and five men on its board.

Chairman Tom Pockett said on Thursday that the addition of both O’Reilly and Conrad would strengthen the board’s experience and expertise in a range of areas.

“[O’Reilly] will bring a wide range of depth of skills and expertise to the board in a number of important areas relevant to our business,” he said.

O’Reilly is also a director of EnergyAustralia, Transurban Limited and Medibank Private, with more than 30 years of experience in business, including five years as CEO of ASX 200 company GasNet Australia Group.

She will give up her posting with EnergyAustralia to accept a role with Stockland.
