Stylerunner’s fashionable step forward

stylerunnerSydney-based e-tailer, Stylerunner, has signed apparel giant, Lululemon Athletica, becoming its first global online retail partner.

Stylerunner was founded by sisters, Julie and Sali Stevanja in 2012, who saw a gap in the market for fashion forward sportswear for women.

As part of the new partnership a curated selection of the brand will be launched online from November 24.

The online pureplay now ships to almost 60 countries, and has signed with more than 40 brands including Nike, Adidas, Le Coq Sportif, and Lorna Jane. The e-tailer was also the first Australian pureplay partner for adidas by Stella McCartney.

The site grew 600 per cent year on year in the last financial year, and is tipped to grow a further 400 per cent this financial year. Internationally, the US has become the e-tailer’s second largest market outside of Australia, the online retailer told Inside Retail PREMIUM earlier this year.

“Having lululemon join our premium brand stable is an exciting feat,” Julie Stevanja, Stylerunner co-founder, said.

“It is incredibly important to us to work with partners who understand Stylerunner’s unique proposition and vision. We are thrilled to have attracted one of the largest and most technically advanced yoga wear brands in the world.”
