Sushi chain opens in Hong Kong

 

sushiAustralian sushi chain, Wasabi Warriors, has opened its first international store in Hong Kong.

The Pacific Retail Management-owned franchise will open its second international outlet in the Philippines next month, with more stores expected to follow later in the year in Hong Kong and Dubai.

Wasabi Warriors has four stores in Australia across NSW, Western Australia, and Queensland.

The brand focuses on its ‘eat good, do good, feel good’ marketing campaign and its concept is based on five cartoon ‘warriors’ including Ocean Warrior, Porky Warrior, Beefy Warrior, Chicken Warrior, and Vegie Warrior.

Pacific Retail also owns retail franchise brands Go Sushi, Sushi Tribe, and Kick Juice Bars.

In December, the group acquired wholesale business, Sushi Ginza, which is stocked in more than 80 Woolworths stores and selected IGA stores, as well as Sushi Hachi, which has outlets in NSW, Queensland, and Victoria.
