Target unveils new look

rsz_target1Australian value department store, Target, will be the first retailer to open its doors as part of Chadstone Shopping Centre’s refurbishment on Thursday 10 September.

The brand is rolling out a series of next generation stores across the country, with the Chadstone location being one of the first, in the east region of Melbourne.

Features of the reimagined store include beauty advisors, a café, digital photo kiosk, instore clothing alteration service, t-shirt printing station, a dedicated denim zone, a Happy Lab confectionery area, and ‘click and collect’ shopping service.

Kristene Reynolds, GM- corporate affairs and public relations, Target, believes the opening marks a new chapter for the company.

“At Target, we’re continually looking for new and innovative ways to enhance the shopping experience and to make life easier for our customers. The roll-out of the new next generation stores, which includes additions such as an instore café and parent room, are all measures aimed at making the Target shopping experience a more comfortable one.

“We’re delighted to be opening our new state of the art Target store as part of the Chadstone redevelopment, and to be sharing our new offering with local shoppers.”

To celebrate the opening, Target style smbassador, Donny Galella will host an instore styling session for customers, presenting the top 10 key looks for the season, followed by a Q&A on style and one-on-one styling advice for customers.
