Target welcomes new ambassadors

TargetTarget Australia has today announced Sonia Kruger and Fiona Falkiner, as the latest brand ambassadors to join Jessica Mauboy as faces of the retailer’s womenswear.

“We are incredibly excited to be welcoming Sonia and Fiona to the Target family,” said Target Australia MD, Stuart Machin. “While both women boast impressive public careers, their dedication to family and leading a healthy life makes them relatable to the everyday woman.

“As a key retailer for Australian women, Target provides affordable, stylish and quality clothing to its customers. Sonia and Fiona will serve as the perfect womenswear ambassadors to empower our women to feel and perform at their best through what they wear.”

Sonia and Fiona will first feature in an upcoming denim campaign alongside, Jess Mauboy and designer Dannii Minogue.

“As a mother juggling a career in the spotlight, it’s important for me to look and feel my best at all times,” said Kruger. “Target provides a one-stop shopping destination, which caters to all aspects of my life; professionally in the media, and personally as a mother.”

Kruger is known for her role in Baz Luhrmann’s, Strictly Ballroom and hosting of a number of Australian television shows including Dancing with the Stars and The Voice. Kruger will be joined by Falkiner who Target says has ‘quickly become a fashion icon and role model for women all over the world following her participation in The Biggest Loser.’

“Target appeals to everyone, no matter their age, size or shape, without sacrificing style, fit and quality,” said Falkiner. “This is what makes them an iconic Australian brand for women,” said Falkiner.
