Target’s first NSW ‘next generation store’

TargetTarget has today announced it will open its first ‘next generation store’ in New South Wales at Chatswood at this Friday.

The new Target Chatswood forms part of the retailer’s roll-out of next generation stores in existing and news sites and will be the first store of its kind in New South Wales.

The store will include styling experts, in-store café, click and collect service, a T-shirt printing station where customers can bring their own designs create their own fashion, on-site clothing alteration service and a digital photo kiosk.

“We’ve rolled these new look stores out in other states so I’m excited to open Sydney’s first next generation store,” said Target MD, Stuart Machin. “At Target, we’re continually looking for new and innovative ways to enhance the shopping experience and to make the Target shopping experience a more comfortable and enjoyable one for our customers.”

Target womenswear ambassador, Jessica Mauboy, will officially open the store, which will also include a Welcome to Country ceremony and ribbon cutting before the doors open at 9am for customers.

Target will be offering $10 Target gift cards to the first 200 customers, free fashion workshops and styling sessions with Target ambassador and celebrity stylist Donny Galella.

The new Target Chatswood is located at Westfield Shopping Town, Spring Street, in Chatswood.
