Tickets on sale for Australian Retail Awards

ARA logoTickets are now on sale for the 2015 Eftpos Australian Retailers Association (ARA) Australian Retail Awards.

The 2015 ARA Awards Breakfast, where winners of each of the 11 award categories will be announced will be held on July 2 at the Grand Hyatt, Melbourne.

ARA executive director, Russell Zimmerman, said entries have now closed for the 2015 ARA Awards and the judging process has begun.

“We are overwhelmed with the superb quality of this year’s entries from retailers across the country and look forward to recognising our top retail individuals and businesses at the ARA Awards Breakfast in July,” said Zimmerman.

“The ARA Awards Breakfast is not only a fantastic platform for award winners to gain recognition amongst their peers and in the media, but also a great opportunity for all retailers, students, entrepreneurs and industry professionals to enjoy a morning of valuable insights and networking with some of retail’s finest.

“This year guests will enjoy words of wisdom from Jodie Fox, chief creative officer and co-founder of multi-channel retail sensation Shoes of Prey who will be delivering the keynote address.

“The Shoes of Prey concept is a perfect example of how Australian retailers have innovated and adapted to today’s environment. Launched in 2009, Shoes of Prey was the first company to offer women the opportunity to design their own shoes online. Fast forward to today, the company boasts five offices globally with stores in both Australia and the US. Shoes of Prey broke even within two months of its launch and hit multi-million dollar revenues within two years – a truly inspiring retail story that needs to be shared,” Zimmerman said.
