Tills continue to ring for San Churro

Chocolate franchise group, San Churro, has achieved a million dollars in revenue over the past seven days.

There are currently 33 San Churro chocolaterias across Victoria, Queensland, South Australia, Western Australia, and NSW, which averaged more than $30,000 in revenue for the week.

Compared to the same seven day time period last year, the results show a 66 per cent revenue increase.

The results are also underpinned by San Churro’s 10 per cent year-on-year sales growth across stores that have been trading for more than fifteen months.

“You don’t need to be an accountant to see how the smiles that we have been putting on our customers faces, are translating to our franchisee partners and their bank managers as well,” said Giro Maurici, founder of San Churro.

Maurici credits the million dollar milestone to a combination of a strong retail offering, a seasonal menu focus, as well as larger store formats and a growing number of outlets.

The past twelve months has seen eight new San Churro stores open in areas including Wollongong, Southbank, Darling Harbour, Penrith and Adelaide.

The company is currently looking for franchise partners to open chocolaterias across Victoria, Queensland, and NSW and is accepting applications for future development opportunities throughout Australia.
