Japanese clothing chain Uniqlo will launch its new collection, Hana Tajima for Uniqlo, in Australia on June 30.

The collection, which was designed in collaboration with British designer Hana Tajima, features clothing that is ‘modest and comfortable’ according to Uniqlo.

The collaboration is the latest of Uniqlo’s LifeWear concepts and incorporates relaxed-fit jeans, rayon blouses, long dresses and hijabs.

UK-born Tajima, according to Uniqlo, ‘is changing the way young women dress globally’. Inspired by her Japanese roots and English upbringing, the fast-fashion retailer said Tajima’s contemporary functional designs are both culturally sensitive and extremely versatile, ‘continuing to garner international attention.’

The collection will be made available at Uniqlo Emporium, Uniqlo MidCity and Uniqlo Australia online store.
