Uniqlo sets date for tenth store

uniqloJapanese apparel retailer, Uniqlo has today announced its Brisbane Queen Street store will open next week on Tuesday March 22.

The new store, located in central Brisbane at the Queen Street Mall, will span over 2054sqm across three levels. The store will offer the full range of Uniqlo apparel and showcase its Autumn/Winter collection.

“Since opening our first store in Melbourne in 2014, Uniqlo has gained a huge following across the country, with shoppers eager to experience our functional, affordable clothing,” said Uniqlo CEO, Shoichi Miyasaka.

As part of the store opening, Uniqlo will install giant origami cranes in Queen Street mall, starting from March 19. The cranes have been designed in collaboration with local artist, Jasmine Dowling.

“We’re looking forward to opening our second Brisbane store and making the brand more accessible to local customers,” said Miyasaka. “Our wide range of every-day products and innovative fabric technology is perfect for the versatile lifestyles of those living in the sunshine state.”
