Young Retailer nominations open

NRAThe National Retail Association (NRA) has opened nominations for the 2014 Young Retailer of the Year Award.

The annual Young Retailer of the Year Award recognises excellence in leadership, innovation, and industry knowledge in the Australian retail sector.

All retailers under the age of 25 are eligible to enter the award and can be nominated by colleagues, supervisors, family members, or themselves.

“The retail industry has come a long way and seen a lot of changes, and we are pleased to recognise and provide opportunities and incentives for the young retailers leading the way – the executives and CEOs of our industry’s future,” Trevor Evans, NRA CEO, said.

The winner will be announced at the gala dinner and awards ceremony on Friday September 26, in Sydney, and awarded a place on the 2015 Westfield World Retail Study Tour.

Award finalists will be announced on Monday August 4,  and will also receive a ticket to the gala dinner and awards ceremony, featuring General Pants Group CEO, Craig King, as keynote speaker.

Every young retailer entrant will receive a ticket to attend the event’s Future of Retail Forum on Friday September 26.

Nominations close July 4.
