Fashion retailer Zimmermann is opening two new stores in California, furthering its expansion in the US.

The new locations include a store in Pacific Palisades in Los Angeles, the brand’s second free-standing store, as well as it’s first retail store location in Jackson Square, San Francisco.

“We are so excited to be expanding on the West Coast and tapping into San Francisco’s fashion, art, design and tech world,” Zimmermann creative director and co-founder Nicky Zimmermann said.

“Jackson Square is always a go to for us when we’re in town, so when an opportunity came up to open our first store in San Francisco, it just felt right.”

The 2800sqm Jackson Square store is located in a former art gallery, giving ample square footage and a grand high ceilings, whereas the 1561sqm Pacific Palisades location holds a fresh, coastal feel – with Zimmermann noting that the location reminds her of Australia.

Both stores are designed by Australian architect Don McQualter and represent the femininity and optimism of the Zimmermann brand.
